Even though the operating instructions on how to use the start button of any JBL external filter ( Dış filtre ) are really clear and comprehensible, JBL receives enquiries on this subject time and again. Admittedly: The FIRST actuation of the "start button" on the pump head of all JBL CristalProfi e Dış filtre requires some force. But after pressing it down for the first time it goes very easily. Many users stop the "pumping process” too early! They probably think that pressing the start button ONCE starts, continues and completes the priming process. This is not the case. The necessary volume to start the pump cannot be achieved by pressing the start button only once. Think of this start button as an air pump, which, of course, cannot pump up the whole tyre with just one motion. If you pump the start button several times, you’ll see the water start to collect in the hose. Only stop when the water flows. This means the pumping was successful. After that the water will continue to flow on its own and fill the filter completely.
Remember: Pump the button, don’t just press it - it’s that easy!
