We believe that it is important for children to have contact to animals and to learn how to keep them responsibly. This is the only way for our kids to develop a relationship with nature and an awareness of our effect on the environment. In such circumstances these children usually treat animals more gently and carefully so that there are no fears for the animals’ welfare. We are therefore all the more pleased when committed schools and kindergartens tell us they have a concept for effectively integrating an aquarium as “learning module”. Here we are happy to help out with our specialist advice and also with products to ensure the successful running of the aquarium.
Our pictures and the Sternchengruppe report will show you how the project developed and which emotions it aroused.
The Sternchengruppe U3 reports
In summer 2016 it was time to bring the jungle to our day nursery and exotic animals visited us. Tränkler’s mobile zoo left a lasting impression. The wish to get an animal for our group grew and grew. In the end the only question was what kind of animal was suitable for the U3 group. As soon as our parents heard of our intention things began to happen very quickly and our group suddenly grew by seven (fish). Now it was time to give them a home, which we created from a lot of old equipment. Thanks to your support we also managed to keep the fish in a species-appropriate manner. The U3 group’s CHILDREN, PARENTS and NURSERY SCHOOL TEACHERS would like to take the opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to you.
