Perfect plant growth is not rocket science!
Once you have used these water tests in your aquarium water to measure the water values relevant for plant growth, you will know exactly whether and what your aquatic plants lack for healthy growth. Only then can you add the missing elements, such as potassium, with a suitable fertiliser (JBL PROSCAPE K MACROELEMENTS).
The following tests are included in the test case:
pH test: water acidity from 6.0 to 7.6
CO2 Direct test: determination of the current carbon dioxide content for thriving plant growth
KH test: pH stability of the water (carbonate hardness)
PO4 test: determination of the phosphate content (reason for algae growth and plant nutrient)
NO3 test: determination of the nitrate content (reason for algae growth and plant nutrient)
Fe test: determination of the iron content to monitor the fertilisation
K test: determination of the plant nutrient potassium
Mg test Freshwater: determination of the important mineral magnesium for healthy plant growth
SiO2 test: determination of the silicates (silicic acid), which cause diatoms
The following tests are available as supplements:
pH test: water acidity from 3.0 to 10
pH test: water acidity from 7.4 to 9.0
O2 test: determination of the oxygen content
GH test: determination of the general hardness
Test NH4 / NH3: identifies non-toxic ammonium, uses table to determine any toxic ammonia
NO2 test: determination of nitrogen compound nitrite, which is toxic for the fish
Cu Test: heavy metal deadly for invertebrates. Also important for adjusting the dose of therapeutic medications
Almost all test reagents are available as environmentally friendly refill packs!
