Product information

The remote control included in the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR allows you to dim the light gradually and to choose between three colour temperatures.
As soon as you have added the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR to your JBL LED SOLAR CONTROL (ideally in combination with JBL LED SOLAR EFFECT), a new world of control will open up to you:
With the help of the JBL LED SOLAR CONTROL you can load the biotope data from the Pantanal (Southeast Brazil) or from the region of the East African Rift Valley lakes (Malawi and Tanganyika). Your LEDs will then emulate the local climatic situations according to the seasons (incl. dry and wet seasons, lightning storms, cloudiness and moon phases).
In goldfish aquariums the light especially highlights their beautiful colours and for community aquariums you can set a light to reproduce a tropical day with 10 h of sun, the right light for plants and vibrant colours for the fish. Lightning storms and cloudiness are created by a random generator.
There is a light programme for fans of heavily planted aquariums (aquascaping) which resembles the programme for community aquariums but with a higher light intensity.
For every programme you can select the acclimatisation mode at the beginning to make it easier for your plants to adapt from your previous lighting with fluorescent tubes to the significantly brighter light of the LEDs without any problems. You can, of course, select each programme without acclimatisation.
In a manual mode, you can also set your own lighting situations.
For all the programmes mentioned here there are 2 LED lamp types available: 1.) JBL LED SOLAR NATUR and 2.) JBL LED SOLAR EFFECT. If you only run the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR with the JBL LED SOLAR CONTROL, but without the JBL LED SOLAR EFFECT, you’ll still be able to use all the functions, such as lightning storms, cloudiness as well as sunrise or sunset, but without the colour effects!

What do you have to consider when changing networks in the home network?

Under " current network", the network to which the controller is currently connected is displayed. If the controller is to be integrated into another network, the old network must first be left. To leave, press and hold " current network" and confirm with "Yes".

My LEDs flash at night. What can I do?

The error with " Lightning in the night" despite deactivated function was fixed on 15 Dec 2020 with the latest update. Simply download the latest version. If the lightning is still present, you can simply reactivate the field and then deactivate it again, which will cause the data to be stored anew in the controller.

Why does my LED dim up and down after sunset?

In an older version of the app, certain setting constellations in manual mode have created a feature which lead to the light flashing after sunset.

To solve this, please follow these two steps:

1. Please download the latest update from 15 Dec 2020 or newer.

2. Delete or empty your weekly manual profile from the controller and transfer it there. If you now recreate and transfer the profile, the error will be removed.

Why do I have to set the connected size of the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR in the app?

The setting ensures optimum control of all lengths of the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR. The setting needs to be updated every time the JBL LED SOLAR NATUR overall length is changed.

Have you forgotten the password of your JBL LED SOLAR CONTROL?

If you forget the password of your JBL LED SOLAR CONTROL or no longer have access to your home network, you can have the CONTROLLER reset via JBL Customer Service. To do this, log on to www.jbl.de/support

The controller is user-friendly and lightweight, making it easy to handle. With the assistance of the app and some proficiency in navigating mobile phone settings, configuring the desired options is a swift task. It enables the simulation of sunrises, sunsets and thunderstorms.

It is a must have if you already acquire the solar or the RGB lights...

Wirklich ein super Produkt, in Kombination mit der App erleben Sie dieses Produkt in Kombination mit dem LED Licht sowie RGB gibt es ein wunderschönes und sehenswertes Erlebnis. Dies verschönert Ihnen die Zeit vor dem Aquarium nochmals mehr und es hat viele zusätzliche Vorteile, für Fisch wie Pflanze! Sie haben die Möglichkeit durch die App alles individuell anzupassen als auch vorinstallierte Programme die man aktivieren kann.

Das was mithilfe des Solar Control einen gibt, ist auch den Preis wert.

Controller is working great. JBL LED Solar Control app is working as expected during setup.

Only huge issue I have is that the connection between app and controller is lost frequently. To restore the connection (temporarily) I have to pull the controller plug out of the socket. Controller and smartphone are on the same WiFi-network at home.

I already contacted Customer Support about my problem. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a generic issue. Please help?

Mit dem Led Controller habt ihr die Möglichkeit euer Licht ganz Individuell zu Steuern. Von Sonnenuntergang bis Wolken....

Ich benutze de Controller nun seit 2 Jahren und bin immernoch überzeugt. Ehrlich gesagt weiss ich nicht was ich daran aussetzen sollte.. Die app ist intuitiv und gut durchdacht.

Man kann alle Tage einzeln Steuern.

Nachdem ich die Solar Natur und Solar Effekt Beleuchtung zusammen mit dem Solar Control jetzt einige Wochen im Einsatz habe, kann ich sagen, dass ich mein Aquarium nicht mehr ohne laufen lassen wollen würde!

Mit dem JBL Solar Control lassen sich mithilfe der App endlos viele Farb- und Helligkeitskombinationen auch abhängig von der Tageszeit einstellen, sodass auch keine Zeitschaltuhr mehr notwendig ist. Das Gerät speichert die eingestellte Beleuchtung, sodass keine permanente Verbindung mit den Wlan notwendig ist.

Des Weiteren besteht die Möglichkeit Sonnenauf- und Untergangs Sequenzen darzustellen.

Beim Sonnenaufgang startet das Licht zunächst im roten Bereich und verändert sich langsam bis hin zur normalen Tagesbeleuchtung. Dies ist einfach wunderschön anzusehen und die Fische erschrecken sich nicht mehr durch plötzliches ein- oder ausschalten.

Eine weitere Funktion sind die „Wolken“, mit denen sich zu jeder beliebigen Tageszeit im manuellen Modus die Beleuchtung verändern lässt. Wenn man möchte, lässt sich sogar ein Gewitter mit Blitzen simulieren.

Zudem befinden sich in der App verschiedene Themen zur Auswahl, bei denen unterschiedliche Biotope, wie der Malawisee, simuliert werden. Hier besteht auch die Möglichkeit, die Beleuchtungszeit und -Intensität abhängig von der Jahreszeit der Heimat der Fische darzustellen. Diese Option finde ich besonders klasse.

Ein super Produkt, welches ich jedem Aquarianer weiterempfehlen kann!

Eine hervorragende Ergänzung für das Aquarium.

Erst mit dem SolarControl entfaltet das LED - System sein volles Potenzial. Die Steuerung über die App geht intuitiv von der Hand. Besonderes Highlight sind die Sonnenauf- bzw. Sonnenuntergänge. Die Bewohner im Aquarium fühlen sich sichtlich wohl und erschrecken sich zu keinem Zeitpunkt mehr, wenn die Beleuchtung an geht.

Anfänglich habe ich mich persönlich schwer getan um meine gewünschten Ergebnisse individuell einzustellen. Nachdem ich doch nach kurzer Zeit dahinter gestiegen bin, war es kinderleicht die Programme zu installieren.

Jetzt ist alles perfekt auf Pflanzen und Tiere abgestimmt.

Auch die vorinstallierten Programme machen auf mich einen wirklich tollen Eindruck, jedoch waren sie in meiner Hinsicht nicht individuell genug. Ein paar Blitze am Abend und einen längeren Sonnenuntergang konnten so noch eingerichtet werden.

Hier hat jbl einen großartigen Job gemacht und ich bin wunschlos glücklich mit diesem Produkt.

È un prodotto che ovviamente utilizzo in combinazione con LED SOLAR EFFECT e LED SOLAR NATUR.

È un accessorio che non può assolutamente mancare e permette tramite la sua app di gestire differenti fasi della giornata come ad esempio Alba/tramonto. Sembrerà un semplice “gioco” ma sia alba che tramonto permettono di dare il giusto equilibrio di vita alla popolazione che vive all’interno dei nostri acquari.

Altra utile funzione sono le “temperature” ,in termini Kelvin, pre-impostate che si possono utilizzare in base al layout che si possiede, nel mio caso Malawi.

Creano un’atmosfera perfetta e sicuramente (nel mio caso) ne giovano molto i Ciclidi poiché permette di risaltare i colori e dare quei giusti punti d’ombra necessari se un esemplare decide di raggiungere una zona di relax buia.

Oltre ciò, permette anche una crescita costante e giusta di alghe di cui i Ciclidi del Malawi ne vanno ghiotti.

Ne approfitto per dire che questo è un prodotto innovativo e che consiglio fortemente ovviamente in associazione alle lampade JBL.

Ich habe den LED Sollar Control an meiner JBL Sollar Natur und Effect RGB angeschlossen. Dank dem Controller kann ich die LEDs sehr einfach und intuitiv steuern und damit Tagesverläufe simulieren.

Der LED Sollar Control lässt sich sehr einfach mir dem WLAN verbinden und die App ist sehr gut gestaltet

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
