JBL Advent calendar 2014 – presents and motifs for your hobby, every day and free of charge

© Adventskalender

Like every year, JBL fans are waiting for JBL’s traditional Advent calendar. People keep asking and the tension is high. What are the prizes this time? How many prizes are there? And of course JBL does have an Advent calendar with fantastic surprises taking you right up to Christmas Eve again this year. We’ve drastically reworked the layout and now guarantee mobile access using your smartphone. The great thing about it is that nobody goes empty-handed. Everyone’s a winner –every day. Acting on the previous years’ good feedback we have integrated the wallpapers into the Advent calendar again this year. They can be used free of charge for your own computer or for your smartphone. You can look forward to some breathtaking motifs and memories of our mutual hobbies.

But what would be a calendar without prizes? Nothing! So we’ve asked our JBL Santa to pack lots of generous presents into it again, and he’s really worked hard. New this year is that every winner can choose a prize appropriate to his hobby (aquatics, herpetology and garden pond). That’s why it’s worth a visit to the JBL homepage every day. There is something great behind every door. Click here for the Advent calendar: Advent Calendar 2016

We wish all our customers and friends a Merry Christmas and many thanks for the trust you have placed in us.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
