The JBL Interns - Aquariums at the Interzoo 2022

Hi guys,

This year it was finally time for Interzoo to take place in its usual environment once again. Although the 2021 trade exhibition was a complete success digitally, on-site events are a completely different experience.

Even though JBL was not an official part of the exhibition this year, we still didn't want to miss the opportunity to experience the world's largest trade exhibition for pet supplies live. From 24 to 27 May, 1,354 exhibitors from all over the world filled the halls at the exhibition centre in Nuremberg. Although most of the booths were dedicated to four-legged animals, the aquatics, terraristics and pond sectors were also well represented.

A small part of the company, including our management, made the trip to meet long-time business partners, friends and acquaintances, to make new contacts and to find out what’s new in our fields.

Tim and I were also at the exhibition to give you a few impressions of the underwater worlds at Interzoo. The display aquariums of the individual exhibitors were real eye-catchers. We tried to capture every single aquarium, both freshwater and marine, on camera for you. But see for yourself...

From where we were standing the Interzoo 2022 was a complete success. We were able to gain some great impressions about the industry and who knows, maybe we will meet again at the next Interzoo. It’ll be something to look forward to!

We hope you liked the pictures! Which tank do you think is the best? Tell us in the comments!

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
