30 °C is the maximum water temperature for aquariums. Fish and plants can tolerate 30 °C for a short time, but the invertebrates in seawater soon die after a very short time if the water temperature exceeds 30 °C. The JBL fans ( JBL PROTEMP Cooler x200 (gen 2) ) easily and efficiently reduce the water temperature by about 4 °C. The air current generated produces evaporative cooling at the water surface, similar to the cooling effect of holding a wet arm in the wind. The JBL PROTEMP Coolers are available in 2 sizes and with the JBL PROTEMP CoolControl , a thermostat for automatic operation is also available. This video shows the Cooler x200, which is 18 cm wide.
