JBL on TikTok & Instagram - This was 2021

Are you following JBL on Instagram and TikTok yet?

We really stepped it up for you on both social media platforms again this year. So far JBL’s been treating you to twice-daily posts on Instagram and Facebook with pictures and short texts about our hobbies, tips and knowledge from the Themeworld , insights into our company, reports from our Expeditions and individual JBL products presented in detail.

On YouTube, you've been following the popular JBL TV episodes ( JBL TV Titles and Schedules ), classic product showcase videos and footage from JBL expeditions for quite some time. You might actually think that’s enough, right?

But that wasn't enough for us. So we focused more on short video formats played out on TikTok and Instagram. The goal was to explain products in under 30 seconds and show how to use them. For our online marketing team, creating them was always a lot of fun and the response showed that you like these formats. So far, they can only be found on Instagram and TikTok.  Should we also integrate these videos on our homepage with the individual products? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Facts, figures, data

We've compiled a brief summary of 2021 for you. 192 videos on TikTok, 111 reels on Instagram generated 302,015 interactions and 3,224,088 views from you.

To follow JBL or not to follow JBL?

I'm sure you can guess the answer we’re about to give. Yes! Of course you should follow us. But not simply so that we can reach you, but because you can really find a lot of free knowledge offers, get insights into your hobby and additionally never miss a promotion, a #jbldeal or a competition. This way you will enjoy special benefits that only the #myjbl community gets.

Also, add the hashtags that the JBL community uses and share experiences from like-minded and dedicated hobbyists: #meinjbl #myjbl #jblcommunity #jblexpedition #jbldeal

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
