The Master School of Aquarium Design: Join In!

A dream aquarium of your own design? Have you ever wanted to recreate a dream aquarium you’ve seen somewhere, but don’t know how? Do you sometimes wonder how famous scapers have set up the aquariums they display online?

In the course of the TIERWELT Magdeburg 2018, five renowned masters of aquarium design will be meeting on April 08, 2018 to give ten aquarists like you, so-called “apprentices” the opportunity to learn this craft and to get to know some well-known personalities from the aquatic scene. From the biotope aquarium to the classic aquascape to the ordinary community aquarium – anything is possible. Your result will inspire the crowds!

Having attended on this day you will be able to create these dream landscapes on your own at home and you may also make some important contacts for life. This project is supported by Tropica Aquarium Plants, Fluval/Hagen Deutschland and JBL. This way you will get the chance to make some face to face contacts with people from the aquarium sector and even to become a part of the aquarium field if you like. Don’t miss this opportunity!

It’s free to take part and all the materials will be provided by the sponsors mentioned above. Even when the application period is over and the 10 apprentices have already been selected you’ll be able to drop by spontaneously to assist them at work. Don't miss this opportunity!

The competition team will be with you every step of the way for questions and help.

This will be an unforgettable day for you and the masters – we are absolutely sure.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
