Happy New Year 2018

Once again a year has passed and I feel like it was only last week that I was writing last year’s end of year post. In 2017 we were able to finalise a lot of important projects, all the time maintaining our motivation and joy.

Our food and care product manufacture is now state of the art. We have welcomed many new employees and we completed the conversion of our liquid area with its new machines and automated production processes.

The awards and the feedback we have received have shown that we are fully in line with contemporary trends.

You can find detailed information about our many new products in the 39 press statements which appeared in 2017: Press .

There’s even more information in the 121 blog posts which appeared in 2017. Here you’ll find the valuable information about our hobby and about occasions such as trade fairs or special events which our experts have put together for you: Blog .

There will be further products, events and developments on the agenda for you in 2018, of course. The list is endless. In the first half of the year there’ll be some “crackers” to make exercising your hobby easier and more efficient.

Our determination and our willingness to go further, and the success which has resulted from this, is only possible because we know we have you, our loyal customers, at our side. For this we say, THANK YOU. Thank you for the good talks and exchanges. Thank you for the great cooperation and for your confidence in our products and in the JBL brand.

We are sure our many new ideas, products and services will lead to an even greater satisfaction with JBL on your part. Let’s go through 2018 together - after all, our community is a part of the JBL family. Enjoy the opportunity to approach our experts directly and take an active part in our journey.

We wish you health and every success for 2018 and look forward to our future with you.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.

JBL GmbH & Co. KG provides this service free of charge, and it is easy to activate or deactivate.
