NEO INDEX® - NATURAL ENERGY OPTIMIZED

NEO index literally means: natural, energy-optimised nutrition. Behind this lies the ratio of proteins to fats in the food. Looking at the season alone, the fish would only need half as much protein in winter (2:1) as in summer (4:1). But because not only the season (meaning the water temperature), but also the size and age of the fish, and food function (e.g. growth food) play determining roles, the der NEO index has been developed to deal with all these factors in one.

Normally manufacturers own machines with which they can produce products. This means that new ideas are limited by the technology of the production machines.

JBL is a manufacturer which has chosen a different approach:

Scientists and pond fish experts develop the food concepts first and then they build a production line dedicated to the product and housed in a suitable building! This has never been done before! But it was by following this unconventional approach that it was possible to offer you (or your fish) the first food which precisely meets the varying demands of different pond fish. This is a huge step towards species-appropriate animal care and towards animal welfare in practice. We are as pleased about that as you are! You will find more information about the new food production hall in this post: Inside JBL: videos and exclusive insights into the new food production hall

The Result

JBL PROPOND is the only physiological-nutritional concept on the market

  • fish species
  • age / size
  • habitat
  • temperature

Making energy available at the right time and in the right place. JBL’s scientists have summarised all these factors in an index, the so-called NEO index. For the first time ever JBL’s ProPond foods are offering you over 100 articles created to take the criteria of temperature, fish species, age / size and habitat into consideration.

We have created a comprehensive introductory speech of the JBL ProPond Opening – This is where the pond and koi scene meet! in German for you.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
