Inside JBL: videos and exclusive insights into the new food production hall

At the beginning of 2015 the first construction machines arrived to expand our existing food and liquid production by a food production hall 2000 m2 in size and 17 m in height, in which we have invested more than 15 million euros so far. With the motto “ From tradition to innovation: new construction project at the JBL location Neuhofen / Deutschland " and "Fit for the future“ Roland Böhme, son of the company founder Joachim Böhme, launched what has been the biggest expansion in the history of the company. We followed the project from the first ground-breaking to the opening ceremony and using a construction camera have recorded the building of the hall in time lapse for you ( Inside JBL – Live construction project - extruder hall ).

A tour round the new food production plant

Numerous new machines and production facilities can be found in the new food production hall. The drum dryer has been modernised ( Inside JBL - Flying flaker roll in the new building ) and the food production has been up and running at high capacity for months now. The new JBL food range ProPond® / NEO Index® was manufactured exclusively on the new machines. Several foods from the Novo range have been improved by formula adaptions so that they can be manufactured with even better quality on the new machines ( The JBL extrudates are setting new standards ).

Take this unique opportunity to accompany us on a tour through our new production area, where up to 35 tons of food is manufactured per day. This state-of-the-art industrial production of feed for your fish and terrarium animals carried out on highly specialised production facilities means we will achieve our aim to produce the world’s best fish food.

PUSH messages from JBL

What are PUSH messages? As part of the W3C standard, web notifications define an API for end-user notifications that are sent to the user's desktop and/or mobile devices via the browser. Notifications appear on the end devices as they are familiar to the end user from apps installed on the device (e.g. emails). Notifications appear on the end user’s device, just like an app (e.g. for emails) installed on the device.

These notifications enable a website operator to contact its users whenever they have a browser open - it doesn’t matter whether the user is currently visiting the website or not.

To be able to send web push notifications, all you need is a website with a web push code installed. This allows brands without apps to take advantage of many of the benefits of push notifications (personalised real-time communications at just the right moment).

Web notifications are part of the W3C standard and define an API for end user notifications. A notification makes it possible to inform the user about an event, such as a new blog post, outside the context of a website.
